Makenna and Hayden had the most gorgeous wedding day at Bella Cavalli in Aubrey, TX on July 1, 2022. After their previous venue had a devastating fire only months prior to their wedding day (yes, you heard that right…), these two found the perfect place to tie the knot. This venue had everything a soon-to-be-married couple could want with detailed suites for the bride and groom, a beautiful reception hall to highlight your thoughtfully decorated tables and all of the special dances through the night, and 130 acres of tremendous scenery for every photo opportunity imaginable!

As Makenna and Hayden got ready for the day, so many sweet, tender moments occurred. Makenna’s bridesmaids, dad, mom, and grandma shed a few tears of joy as they watched her prepare for one of the most treasured days this far. Hayden’s mom, dad, and brother made sure he looked mighty spiffy before venturing off to the venue to see his bride-to-be.

The front of Bella Cavalli’s venue made for the perfect backdrop for Makenna and Hayden’s first look. They shared their vows privately instead of during their ceremony. You could read the emotions all over their faces as they tearfully spoke the kindest words to one another. We couldn’t help but take a few photos after this intimate moment on the front steps of the venue before inviting their wedding party to join.

It was still full-sun when we were beginning wedding party photos and we wanted only the perfect light for these images. We decided to golf cart the entire crew to one of the many beautiful tree-line locations on Bella Cavalli’s property! Makenna and Hayden were truly surrounded by the best wedding party a couple could ask for between the kind words of positivity, hyping them up during poses, and providing support where it was needed!

If you are from Texas or have ever lived in Texas, you know how precarious it can be to have an outdoor ceremony in July! We were blessed with the most gorgeous weather this day with clear, blue skies, a cool breeze, and the dreamiest sunset! Makenna and Hayden had a traditional ceremony and decided to build a cross to signify the building block of their marriage. Following their ceremony, they shared photos with the people most important to them…their family. And, as I said, we were blessed with the dreamiest sunset to grace their post-ceremony couples portraits!

The night was filled with dancing, sweet words from both dads and siblings, an Encanto song for the sweet, littlest flower girl, and all the laughs and joy of the BEST wedding day!
